Véronique Chagnon Côté
born 1986 - lives and works in Montréal, QC
Véronique Chagnon Côté (b. 1986, Montreal) holds a BFA from UQAM (2009) and a Master's in Studio Art from Concordia University (2016). Her paintings engage with feminist interpretations of the phenomenology of space, reimagining and reinterpreting architectural conventions while subverting boundaries between interiority and exteriority. Her recent exhibitions include Sous ses yeux de pierre at Forest City Gallery, Ontario (2023), Travaux en cours – Arts & Crafts aujourd’hui at Cité du Design, Esadse, France (2024) and Cruel to be kind at Livart, Montreal (2023). Her work can be found in the collections of Rad Hourani Foundation, Ville de Laval, City Hall Gallery of Ottawa, and various private collections. She lives and works in Montreal.
